We have two openings in the Scuba Adventure crew from Austin, TX. The trek starts on June 28 and runs until June 4. While this is a Scuba adventure, there is the option to snorkel instead (if you are not certified or do not have time to become certified before the trip). The reefs that we visit are typically 20-40 ft in depth with the coral heads coming up higher. These are the same reefs that are visited by our sailing vessels that do snorkeling only. They are great locations for both diving and snorkeling. This is a 2-for-1 deal, meaning that you only have to pay for one of the spots so as to encourage participation and offset the costs of the individuals who can no longer participate.

Troop 480 from Greensburg, Pennsylvania has four open spots for an unforgettable Scouting America Sea Base St. Thomas adventure, and we’d love to welcome a few more Scouts to join us!We’ll be traveling as two well‑organized crews, departing Pittsburgh early Monday morning and spending two full days enjoying the sights, culture, and beaches of St. Thomas before boarding our Sea Base vessels on Wednesday the 15th. It’s the perfect blend of island exploration, Scouting fellowship, and high‑adventure sailing. If you aren’t coincidently in the Pittsburgh area we can meet on the island, whatever works for you. Our group is made up of Scouts ages 13-17, a few 18‑year‑old youth participants, and a handful of experienced, active male and female leaders. We have the proper youth and adult ratios, so any Scout – boy or girl – can fit right in and feel comfortable joining our crews. This trip has been carefully planned, the crews are friendly and welcoming, and the adventure is shaping up to be something truly special. If you (or a Scout you know) are looking for a last‑minute chance to experience Sea Base St. Thomas, we’d be excited to connect and share more details.
